Older News Older News News for June 2022 Can/Am /CFC Ch IMMERZU GHOSTLIGHT (owned and bred by ourselves) needed just one point to finish his American Grand Championship, and after a wait of almost three years he finally managed a trip to the USA, and did it in fine style at the Chickadee Cluster of six shows in Cumberland, Maine. He won 3 extra points and some Best of Breed awards. Border closings and restrictions had made it impossible for so long, but at the age of 10 ½ “Jacob” stil showed with energy and delight at getting back in the ring at last. He is the third Canadian-bred and owned Puli to complete an American GCh (and we bred and owned or co-owned all three!), and we think he may be the first masked fawn to complete a GCh in the USA . Take a bow, Jacob! News for Jul 2022 WINDKIST MOVING TARGET (owned by ourselves, bred by Ann Tober and Patti Anspach) finally managed to get back in the ring after two years of COVID restrictions, lockdowns, and cancelled shows. “Archer” won the final points and Best of Breed to complete his Canadian championship at the Cape Breton KC shows held near Truro, Nova Scotia. Well done, Archer! News for Nov 2022 IMMERZU ORIGINAL SINNER (owned and bred by ourselves) surprised and delighted us at the Moncton KC shows in New Brunswick, when she took two Best of Breed awards, and also placed fourth in the large herding group, beating several group winners and placers! This was only Sinner’s second weekend ever of shows, and she is 20 months old! With these wins she also completed her Canadian championship, and she showed with self-confidence and style despite her inexperience. News for Sept 2022 IMMERZU LUCKY GUESS (owned and bred by ourselves) finished her championship at the Pictou County KC shows held in New Glasgow. “Lucy” was an extremely naughty girl. leaping and twirling in the ring, and causing much muttered cursing and embarrassment! She was very lucky that the judge saw enough between her antics to recognize her great structure and sound movement, and gave her the points to complete her title. She was also lucky not to get strangled in the ring! News for Dec 2022 AM CH INVICTUS IMMERZU ISTI UDX2 PCDX OM1 RA CGC (owned by Tom & Melinda Peters of Los Angeles; bred by ourselves and Tamzin Hart) was top obedience Puli in the USA for 2021, for the second year running. “Isti” sometimes has a little too much fun in the ring to get a qualifying score, but he has managed to amass a great collection of titles, and is always handled by Melinda, who says he’s getting more consistent as the years go by! Well done Melinda and Isti for showing how wonderfully Pulis can do in performance events! News for May 2023 AM CH INVICTUS IMMERZU ISTI UDX2 PCDX OM1 RA CGC (owned by Tom & Melinda Peters of Los Angeles, bred by ourselves and Tamzin Hart) won TWO High In Trial awards this month in California, with scores of 198 and 196½. He can often be inconsistent in the ring but he’s really putting together some great performances lately for handler Melinda! He was also top winning obedience Puli in the USA for 2022 - way to go Isti! CH WINDKIST MOVING TARGET (bred by Ann Tober & Patti Anspach, owned by ourselves) won two group placements at the Tantramar KC shows in Upper Brookside, Nova Scotia - a Group 2nd and a Group 4th. We were delighted with these wins for “Archer” as it was his first time in the ring as a special! The weekend was very wet and very windy, we were lucky not to get blown out of the ring as Archer gaited with cords whirling like flags! IMMERZU MISCHIEF MANAGED (owned and bred by ourselves) finished her championship in fine style with a Group 4th at the Monction KC shows in New Brunswick. “Carly” is our beautiful masked fawn girl, and despite having little experience in the ring (thanks to COVID keeping us all at home for much of the last three years) she behaved beautifully and made us proud. News for June 2024 IMMERZU PRIME SUSPECT (owned by Koreen Nadon in Manitoba; bred by ourselves) showed beautifully at the Portage Kennel Club shows in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, to take a Group 4th placing in the herding group. “Lizzie” is really getting the hang of this showring business! News for May 2024 IMMERZU PRIME SUSPECT (owned by Koreen Nadon in Manitoba; bred by ourselves) started her show career off in fine style with a Herding Group 4th at the Fort Garry Kennel Club shows in Oakbank, Manitoba. Well done to “Lizzie” on her first weekend of shows! News for September 2024 IMMERZU PUBLIC MISCHIEF (owned and bred by ourselves) completed his Canadian championship at the Pictou County KC shows, held in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia “Conor” is our lovely fawn boy, brother to Lizzie now having a great time in the showrings of Manitoba. Conor and his dam Carly were also featured in the ring in short clips on the TV show “Still Standing,” which was filming that weekend in the town and took in the dog show too. They looked terrific!
