Older News Older News News for May 2019 Delighted to report that Can GCh/Am Ch IMMERZU HIGH FIDELITY won the final points for his Americam Grand Championship at a show circuit in Cumberland, Maine. Mikey is the first Canadian owned and bred male Puli to achieve this, the second Canadian owned and bred Puli to complete this title (the first was his half sister, Am GCh Immerzu Enchanted Moon - check out her page), and the first Puli to complete both Canadian and American Grand championships. What a special boy! News for September 2019 GCh Immerzu High Fidelity had a successful weekend at the Pictou County KC shows, winning three Group 2nds and a Group 4th. Hurricane Dorian on the same weekend didn’t faze him at all, though thankfully the shows were held indoors! Can GCh/Am Ch IMMERZU HIGH FIDELITY had another successful day at the dog show when he placed Group 3rd at the Cobequid show in Truro, Nova Scotia. He always thoroughly enjoys himself in the ring, such a pleasure to be on the end of his lead! Can GCh/Am Ch IMMERZU HIGH FIDELITY made a trip over the Northumberland Strait to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and came home with a very nice Group 4th rosette. He finished up his showing year with some great successes, and we are proud to show our lovely Pulis in the Maritimes and the New England states, and very much appreciate the judges who have honoured our dogs with some great awards! News for October 2019 News for January 2020 Am Ch INVICTUS IMMERZU ISTI UDX RA (bred by ourselves and Tamzin Hart; owned by Melinda & Tom Peters of Los Angeles) was very successful in the obedience rings last year, and is the #2 Puli in obedience for 2019. Well done, Isti and his handler/owner Melinda! News for February 2021 Am Ch INVICTUS IMMERZU ISTI UDX RA (bred by ourselves and Tamzin Hart; owned by Melinda & Tom Peters of Los Angeles) was very successful in the obedience rings in a very strange year, when many trials were cancelled due to COVID restrictions. Isti and Melinda found a few to compete in, and he is the #1 Puli in obedience in the USA for 2020. Well done, Isti and his handler/owner Melinda, for continuing to fly the Puli banner in obedience! News for October 2021 Can/Am Ch IMMERZU HARMONIZING (bred & owned by ourselves) attended the Pictou County KC shows in Nova Scotia, and won a Group 4th in stroung herding group competition. “Tally” has been out of the showring for over two years thanks to COVID, but she hadn’t forgotten how to strut her stuff beautifully in the ring and showed to perfection. News for June 2022 Can/Am /CFC Ch IMMERZU GHOSTLIGHT (owned and bred by ourselves) needed just one point to finish his American Grand Championship, and after a wait of almost three years he finally managed a trip to the USA, and did it in fine style at the Chickadee Cluster of six shows in Cumberland, Maine. He won 3 extra points and some Best of Breed awards. Border closings and restrictions had made it impossible for so long, but at the age of 10 ½ “Jacob” stil showed with energy and delight at getting back in the ring at last. He is the third Canadian-bred and owned Puli to complete an American GCh (and we bred and owned or co-owned all three!), and we think he may be the first masked fawn to complete a GCh in the USA . Take a bow, Jacob! News for Jul 2022 WINDKIST MOVING TARGET (owned by ourselves, bred by Ann Tober and Patti Anspach) finally managed to get back in the ring after two years of COVID restrictions, lockdowns, and cancelled shows. “Archer” won the final points and Best of Breed to complete his Canadian championship at the Cape Breton KC shows held near Truro, Nova Scotia. Well done, Archer! News for Nov 2022 IMMERZU ORIGINAL SINNER (owned and bred by ourselves) surprised and delighted us at the Moncton KC shows in New Brunswick, when she took two Best of Breed awards, and also placed fourth in the large herding group, beating several group winners and placers! This was only Sinner’s second weekend ever of shows, and she is 20 months old! With these wins she also completed her Canadian championship, and she showed with self-confidence and style despite her inexperience. News for Sept 2022 IMMERZU LUCKY GUESS (owned and bred by ourselves) finished her championship at the Pictou County KC shows held in New Glasgow. “Lucy” was an extremely naughty girl. leaping and twirling in the ring, and causing much muttered cursing and embarrassment! She was very lucky that the judge saw enough between her antics to recognize her great structure and sound movement, and gave her the points to complete her title. She was also lucky not to get strangled in the ring! News for Dec 2022 AM CH INVICTUS IMMERZU ISTI UDX2 PCDX OM1 RA CGC (owned by Tom & Melinda Peters of Los Angeles; bred by ourselves and Tamzin Hart) was top obedience Puli in the USA for 2021, for the second year running. “Isti” sometimes has a little too much fun in the ring to get a qualifying score, but he has managed to amass a great collection of titles, and is always handled by Melinda, who says he’s getting more consistent as the years go by! Well done Melinda and Isti for showing how wonderfully Pulis can do in performance events! News for May 2023 AM CH INVICTUS IMMERZU ISTI UDX2 PCDX OM1 RA CGC (owned by Tom & Melinda Peters of Los Angeles, bred by ourselves and Tamzin Hart) won TWO High In Trial awards this month in California, with scores of 198 and 196½. He can often be inconsistent in the ring but he’s really putting together some great performances lately for handler Melinda! He was also top winning obedience Puli in the USA for 2022 - way to go Isti! CH WINDKIST MOVING TARGET (bred by Ann Tober & Patti Anspach, owned by ourselves) won two group placements at the Tantramar KC shows in Upper Brookside, Nova Scotia - a Group 2nd and a Group 4th. We were delighted with these wins for “Archer” as it was his first time in the ring as a special! The weekend was very wet and very windy, we were lucky not to get blown out of the ring as Archer gaited with cords whirling like flags! IMMERZU MISCHIEF MANAGED (owned and bred by ourselves) finished her championship in fine style with a Group 4th at the Monction KC shows in New Brunswick. “Carly” is our beautiful masked fawn girl, and despite having little experience in the ring (thanks to COVID keeping us all at home for much of the last three years) she behaved beautifully and made us proud.
